Our elite squad will play in the National College League).

The aim of this programme is to;

  • To achieve a nationally recognised Level 2 sport specific vocational qualification
  • Give learners the opportunity to enter employment in the sport and active leisure sector or to progress to higher education vocational qualifications such as the Foundation Degree in Sport or related areas
  • Give learners the opportunity to develop a range of techniques, personal skills and attributes essential for successful performance in working life
  • Develop football skills and fitness, with high level professional coaching

If you have not achieved a C grade or above in English or maths, you will as part of your course be required to work towards this as part of your study programme. You will be given the opportunity to go on work experience at certain times during your course.

To develop your employability opportunities you may also be given enrichment classes. This may focus upon additional qualifications, industrial updating and career preparation.

The Martin Gray Football Academy provides a free training kit worth £200 to every student. Students must also purchase a track suit and hooded top at a cost of £70 payable on enrolment. Exceptional cases will be considered on an individual basis

The training kit consists of shorts, t shirt, socks, half zip top and waterproof jacket all fully badged and initialled. These items will be issued on the commencement of the course.

Should students withdraw from the course at any time during the first term the full cost of the free kit is expected to be repaid.
