Applying with us is easy!
No matter what stage you are at in your decision, we are here to help.
Choose your course
Take a look at our fantastic range of courses and Apprenticeships in our prospectus and check out our course search online. If you are undecided about what to study you can have a chat with our Guidance Team.
If you know which course interests you, then you can head straight for our online application form and start your application. Alternatively if you have decided on the apprenticeship route then you can go straight to our apprenticeship section.
If you would like to know more about the college, you may be interested in visiting the college for a tour. Our Open Events give you the opportunity to view our fantastic facilities, as well as speak to our tutors, students and college staff for inspiration and advice.
It’s never too early to apply for a place – remember demand for our courses can be high, so get your application in to us as early as possible.
No matter where you are in the decision making process, help is available!
If you are applying for a Health and Social care or Childcare course then you will need to have a Disclosure and Barring Service Check. To find out more information on this visit our DBS page.
Online application form
You can apply to the college at any time, even if you have applied to other colleges. Simply complete our online application form.
Our online application system will confirm that we have received your application via an email within 24 hours of your application form arriving. If you haven’t heard from us after 2 days, please contact our Admissions Team via either email firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 01325 503035.
Once we have received your application form, you will be invited in for an interview with a tutor. This will give you the opportunity to talk about the course in more detail and ask any questions. You can even bring your parents along too. Remember to let us know if you cannot attend and we will try to rearrange your interview.
Offer of a place
After you have been through the interview process you will be informed if you have been successful in securing a place. In many cases applicants will receive a conditional offer, subject to a satisfactory school report and you achieving the entry requirements. Remember to complete the acceptance form and return it to the college as soon as possible.
If the course isn’t right for you, we may decide to offer you an alternative course or we may not offer you a place. Don’t worry – we will help you find a suitable course at the college at the correct level that will help you achieve your goals.
Will I get to see what college life is like?
After your exams you will get the chance to come and give your course a go at our Connecting to College event in June. This event provides the opportunity to spend a day in college and get a taste of what your course will be like – you can speak to your course tutors, meet other prospective students and get a real feel for college life.
If you have any questions or thoughts don't hesitate to let us know!
