Two NCTJ journalism students will be joining the Sky News team as part of its digital camera election coverage tonight.

Kerri Muirhead and Sam Howard will be at the counts for Redcar and Middlesbrough South and East Cleveland constituencies throughout the night.

Kerri, who is interested in a broadcast career, has done work experience at Star Radio and The Northern Echo as part of her journalism degree and NCTJ studies, will be joined by fellow NCTJ student Sam Howard.

Kerri and Sam are part of a team of students from around the country who were offered the opportunity to be involved in Sky’s interactive election coverage. Sky’s Digital Camera Project will be live in 150 counts across the UK.
