Darlington Civic Theatre audience danced and sang the night away to the sound of the Beatles as the hit show Let It Be arrived in town.

Let it Be, an Annerin Productions and Flying Entertainment show, featured classic hits including Hey Jude and Help and told the story of the band’s meteoric rise from their humble beginnings in Liverpool’s Cavern Club to world fame.

The ‘fab four’ on stage, Paul Canning, Paul Mannion, Stuart Wilkinson and Ian B Garcia, really captured the spirit of the beloved Beatles. The set design of retro TV screens and rotating lights was perfect too.

The show has already been seen by one million people worldwide, and has proved a West End and Broadway hit.

There was great interaction from the musicians and the audience. All they needed was love…and they got it!

Let It Be runs until the May 14 Tickets from http://www.darlingtoncivic.co.uk/whats-on/let-it-be.aspx.
