Darlington College sports journalism student Jack Kenmare writes for The SPORT Bible

NCTJ sports journalism student Jack Kenmare has taken one step closer to his dream by writing for popular sport entertainment website, The SPORT Bible.

Jack, who is studying for his BA Journalism and News Practice degree at Darlington College, is a budding sports journalist who has already built up a portfolio of published work. The 21-year-old has seen his work appear in the Manchester Evening News, GiveMeSport and Zoo Magazine.

Now, he has taken the opportunity to write for one of Britain’s favourite sporting websites, which is viewed by millions daily. The SPORT Bible, and its sister site the LAD Bible have grown from small websites into huge businesses over the past couple of years. Their unique style means they are a huge success with the 16-35 year-old age group with article that put a humorous spin on all sports.

Jack, who has already completed his NCTJ sports journalism module at Darlington College, said: “It’s a huge opportunity for me. The SPORT Bible have over five million likes on Facebook and almost one million on Twitter. I have embraced the fact that social media is becoming an important tool in journalism. I hope I can progress with the publication and impress in my placement.”

Jack will soon be heading over to the website’s Manchester headquarters for a week of work experience. Here are some links to Jack’s works:
