• Prefinio – an online career matching programme
• U-Explore – a careers database
• Adult Directions – a careers database
• Higher Ideas – for searching university courses
• Talking jobs – People talking about their jobs

 Jobpod

The jobpod is an exciting new service aimed at helping students gain part time employment during their studies or full time employment at the end of their studies. 

 The jobpod will provide:

• 1:1 support in identifying, applying and securing that job
• Group support through the jobpod club
• Access to job vacancies via the dedicated jobpod noticeboard
• Facilities to access online vacancies
• A matching service to registered students as the vacancies are received

 Supporting you all the way by:-

• Helping you develop and improve your CV
• Improving your interview techniques
• Identifying job leads
• Developing your network
• Helping you complete application forms and write covering letters

Resources

The jobpod has dedicated laptops to help you apply for jobs as well as an extensive range of jobsearch books and resources including the online resources. We can help you with online applications and interview preparation.
