Course overview

This rapidly growing technique is becoming hugely popular in salons and health spas. With the use of Hot wax you will be shown how to safely and effectively remove hair from the underarm and the Bikini areas to create Hollywood and Brazillian Trends. The use of hot wax makes the service on delicate areas safer and more comfortable for your clients and is excellent for removing short hair growth. Any therapist currently operating with warm wax system only would hugely benefit from this programme.

Entry requirements

Previous waxing experience.
Comfortable clothing to be worn and low heeled shoes. No sandals please.

Learning method

The learning for this programme will be carried out at Darlington College main site and include 3 hours of programme delivery. The programme content will include theory and practical training.

Assessment method

A college certificate will be awarded on successful completion of the training.

Progression/career possibilities

Level 3 Certificate in Epilation (level 2 trained only).
