Course overview

This is a dual qualification, CMI Diploma at level 5 and NVQ at level 4, it will give you the opportunity to take two separate but complementary qualifications in one period of study. 

Management training and development will help you as a manager and as an aspiring manager broaden your knowledge and understanding and more fully realise  your management potential so as to develop  your career in  your chosen field.

What are the entry requirements?

You will need to be working in a managerial or leadership role with a level 3 qualification. 

You will be required to have an interview/informal chat with the tutor before enrolling on this course.

How will I learn?

A variety of  workshops, tutor-led lectures and tutorials.

How will I be assessed?

Assessment is via a continuous process and there are no exams. In effect this means that assignments and module assessments are completed throughout the year. Continuous assessment means that you know how  you are progressing and can talk about this to  your tutor. The whole programme is externally assessed by the Institute to ensure national standards are maintained.

Further Education

Full Time Further Education course tuition fees are free if you are 16 – 18 years of age on August 31 of the calendar year in which you begin your studies, however if you are 19 or over tuition fees will apply.

Higher Education

For Higher Education Courses (University level and Management and Professional courses Level 4 – 7) tuition fees are applicable to all students regardless of age.
