If you are interested in working with cars and vehicles, then this Apprenticeship could be ideal for you.
Vehicle body repair technicians specialise in repairing or replacing damaged panels from vehicles that may have been involved in an accident - you make work on one specialist area of the vehicle or complete the whole repair.
Duties may include:
•Assessing the level of damage and making decisions to repair or replace panels
•Repairing chassis and panels
•Removing damaged panels
•Keeping logs of work carried out and informing the customer of any additional work that may be needed
For Level 2 Apprenticeships you need to have 4 GCSEs at grades D-E including GCSE maths and English.
You will be required to attend an interview at the college for all courses and Apprenticeships and we will request a school or college report.

You will attend college on day release basis and also be assessed in the workplace. If you do not have a grade C or above in maths and English then you will be able to work towards this as part of your Apprenticeship.
You will be assessed in the workplace whilst carrying out various duties related to vehicle repairs. This will include on and off the job training. You may complete tests/exams and prepare a portfolio of work.
