This course will provide you with an extensive range of knowledge about advanced beauty treatments in readiness for employment or higher education.
If you have not achieved a C grade or above in English or maths, you will as part of your course be required to work towards this as part of your study programme. You will be given the opportunity to go on work experience at certain times during your course.
To develop your employability opportunities you may also be given enrichment classes. This may focus upon additional qualifications, industrial updating and career preparation
You will need the Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy and achieve up to a Level 2 functional skills in maths and English.
You will be required to attend an interview at the college and we will request a school or college report.

You will be taught using up to date resources in practical workshops, seminars, master classes as well as theory sessions with e-learning activities and tutorials. You will need to dedicate four hours per week to private study time.
- Monitor procedures to safely control work operations
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of promotional activities
- Provide facial electrical treatments
- Provide body massage treatments
- Provide Indian head massage
- Carry out massage using pre-blended aromatherapy oils
- Provide stone therapy treatments
You can become a Beauty Therapist, work on a cruise liner or in a spa, or as a Salon Manager/Owner. You could also progress on to an Apprenticeship within a beauty salon or health spa.
