This course is all about precision gents cutting techniques. We will cover blending, scissor and clipper over comb, free hand techniques, fading, building shape and texture. It is aimed to improve and enhance your barbering skills, sharpening your technical skills and improving speed.
It will help you build a solid foundation of knowledge and skills delivered by a specialist barbering tutor with extensive industrial and teaching experience.

You will need to have or be working towards a Level 2 Hairdressing qualification or have relevant industrial experience.

You will need to complete 8 units to achieve the qualification. It is a fast paced course aimed at people that have or are working towards a Level 2 Hairdressing qualification or relevant industry experience.
To achieve this course you must complete:
- Unit 201 Working in the hair industry
- Unit 202 Follow health and safety in the salon
- Unit 203 Client consultation for hair services
- Unit 204 Shampoo and condition the hair and scalp
- Unit 205 Promote products and services to clients in a salon
- Unit 210 Cut men’s hair
- Unit 211 Cut facial hair
- Unit 104 Styling men’s hair
You will be continually supported and given feedback to help you prepare for assessment, as well as helping you to improve your skills and progress.
A kit and uniform will be required for this course.
This qualification will enable you to work in the barbering industry, or you could progress onto the Level 3 Hairdressing for Colour Technicians.
