Course overview

An award of Teesside University delivered in partnership with Darlington College where network specialists are vital to the provision, operation and management of networked computer systems. Networks are central to the Internet of Everything allowing online communications between colleagues and to the overall competitiveness and success of a business. The networking modules are delivered using industry recognised training materials provided by CISCO, a marked leader in networking hardware. The course requires two modules of Work Based Learning to be undertaken to give students an opportunity to gain new skills in a work setting.

Entry requirements

You will need a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject, or an equivalent qualification equal to 120 (previous) or 48 (existing) UCAS points. Work experience will also be taken into account.

How will I be assessed

In most cases the module learning outcomes will be assessed through a case study (in course assessment), or written reports.
