This course has been designed for those who have little or no experience using a computer and who wish to learn the basics to enhance their employability, or who simply want to learn a new skill.
No formal entry requirements are required for this course.

Students will complete the following modules on this course:
- Computer Basics (supported with Microsoft Digital Literacy)
- Computer Security and Privacy (supported with Microsoft Digital Literacy)
- Using Email
- Word Processing Software
Modules are assessed using a variety of methods, including;
- Scenario based assessments
- Electronic portfolio
Full tutor support will be provided every step of the way.
If you enjoy this course and would like to develop your skills further you could progress onto the Level 1 ITQ qualification. Should you wish to progress even further, Level 2 ITQ qualifications are currently being designed for learners.
