The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) Intermediate Diploma in Human Resource (HR) Management is an ideal qualification to help you to further your career in HR and to gain a valuable insight into the management of people and the developing strategic role that the senior HR manager plays.  This qualification is ideal for you if you have been operating in a transactional HR role undertaking tasks such as recruitment and selection, change management or HR advisor.  It is also the course for you if you wish to progress into a more senior role and already hold the Level 3 foundation qualification.

Entry requirements

Ideally you will be working in a HR role and will have completed the Level 3 Foundation qualification in Human Resource Practice. However, entry criteria can be discussed with the course tutor. You will be required to have an interview/informal chat with the tutor before enrolling on this course.

This course will run on a Wednesday 4.30pm - 9pm.

How will I be assessed

This will be through formal written assignments, group and individual presentations, group feedback, case studies and question and answer sessions.

Fees and funding

This course is free if you are 16-18 years of age on August 31 of the calendar year in which you begin your studies. If you are 19+ years of age fees may apply. However help may be available. To see if you can receive any funding call our Student Services Team on 01325 503030.
Course fees are payable to Darlington College. Registration and membership fees may be payable. All course fees are per year.
