With Summer hopefully not too far away and the chance to get out and about with your camera this short course will help to develop your photography skills.
From portraits and night photography to macro imaging this practical course will be filled with skills to learn and the chance to practice them with a group of other interested photographers.
As you already know a little about the way your camera works and what the individual controls can achieve this is a course aimed at those who have at least a basic knowledge of photography.
Week 1 Registration. Tour of facilities, course introduction and overview. Camera setup and handling.
Weeks 2 Portraits... images of people, both formal and informal
Week 3 Landscape... whether the built environment or the great outdoors
Week 4 Low light photography... from floodlit buildings to "painting with light"... when the sun goes down and the light falls there it still much that a photographer can do.
Week 5 Movement... from fast moving children to sports... making images of action
Week 6 Small things... from flowers and wildlife to still-life
