This is a practical course aimed at students who have completed the Photography Introduction and Intermediate (or equivalent) courses. The Advanced Photography course provides the opportunity for you to develop your existing skills to a professional standard, acquire new skills and produce a professional portfolio of work in both print and digital formats.
Classes will be mostly practical utilising our excellent facilities, which include a professional photography studio with Mac and PC computer suites running the latest Adobe software products.

Portfolio building and group critique.
Weeks 3 and 4
Advanced exposure techniques and The Zone System.
Weeks 5 and 6
Flash metering and off camera flash. Using a multiple light setup.
Weeks 7 and 8
Weeks 9 and 10
Copyright and file management. Preparing images for web. Professional practice.
Portfolio review and critique.
You will receive a college certificate of attendance.
