Student Travel Information

Getting to college can be an important factor in your decision about which college to attend. We offer several options to help you, depending on your chosen method of travel. At Darlington College we try to build on existing transport links and take into account the various options for Green Travel.

Financial Support for Travelling to College

Financial support may be available to assist you with the cost of travelling to college, in the form of grants or bursaries available from the Government. For further information regarding financial assistance please contact the college’s Student Finance team on 01325 503037 or email finance@darlington.ac.uk

  • Aged 16-18 at the start of their full time course
  • Attending a course which is considered to be within reasonable daily travelling distance
  • Attending a course which is not offered at a college nearer to your home
  • Living more than 3 miles from the college you wish to attend
