How can I get involved in college life?

Board of Governors

There are two elected students on the Board of Governors.

There is currently a vacancy for a Student Governor. This is a one year appointment and will require you to attend 5 board meetings a year. An excellent opportunity to gain real life business experience and enhance your CV!

Student Representatives
Each Student Group has two Student Representatives to attend team meetings and other student meetings around the college. Check to make sure you know who yours are or volunteer yourself.

Student Council
Student Representatives attend monthly Student Council meetings to give their views on college life and to organise activities and fund raising events.

Student Voice Groups
These are open groups for any student to attend. Come and have your say about anything you feel strongly about.

College Management Groups
There are various college management groups that value student input e.g. Equality and Diversity, Health and Safety, Environmental Group.

Student Ambassadors
Come and volunteer at our events and represent the study body to parents, employers and other visitors.

Sports, Teams and Activities
Get involved in your favourite sport or help us start new clubs and teams.
